We applaud the NTIA and the Biden-Harris Administration on approving their 55th BEAD proposal. As we approach the three-year anniversary of the Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act, it is important to acknowledge the progress the NTIA has made. With only one approval away and in clear sight, we appreciate how Congress, the State Broadband Offices, and the Administration have worked together to keep this program on track, a step closer to getting fiber broadband to all Americans. The states now have an opportunity to ensure this once-in-a-generation funding can be utilized to make fiber accessible to the rural and long-overlooked communities that have gone too long without reliable, high-speed internet. The BEAD program is a massive initiative that will benefit the U.S. in immeasurable ways, and we applaud the NTIA in its efforts to keep the program on track and successful.”
