FBA Official Statement Regarding BEAD Funding Approvals for Mississippi and South Dakota – 8/29/24

“The Fiber Broadband Association would like to congratulate the states of Mississippi and South Dakota on receiving the approval for their Initial Proposals for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment program. These approvals mean that these two states can move forward in their plans to bring affordable, reliable, high-speed internet service to their communities. We would also like to congratulate the NTIA for its continued swiftness in approving these proposals, furthering the ‘Internet for All’ initiative.”
